Gonzaga Students Trying To Change How Sexual Assault Cases Are Handled

Over 40 students stand in front of the Crosby Center during a sexual assault policy protest at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014. (Young Kwak/Pacific Northwest Inlander)

Students at Gonzaga University are trying to change how the university handles sexual assault cases. I photographed a protest in front of the student union building last week, for the Inlander. This was an assignment where the protested started at noon and I had photos filed by 12:40PM, to meet a press deadline. I had to shoot photos very quickly and collect accurate caption info. I ended up working on the photos on my laptop on site, during the protest, and filed using my phone as a wifi device. To read about their efforts, go to http://www.inlander.com/spokane/we-want-to-talk-about-sex/Content?oid=2381386
