Spokane Public Schools Discipline

Rene Bross poses for a photograph in front of Ridgeview Elementary School in Spokane, Wash., Sunday, June 5, 2016. Bross’ 11 year old son, unidentified, who is on the autism spectrum and has ADHD, had difficulty with how his teachers interacted with him at Ridgeview Elementary School. He now attends a different school, where has had a more positive experience. (Young Kwak/Pacific Northwest Inlander)

Here’s a photo for the Inlander of parent Rene Bross about discipline in Spokane Public Schools. http://www.inlander.com/spokane/corrective-actions/Content?oid=2797208

The school district has a higher rate of discipline than other districts within Washington state and is using different methods to figure out how to take corrective actions on students to make it more beneficial to both students and teachers.
