I spent a few moments at W. Cliff Dr. photographing the Independence Day fireworks at Riverfront Park in Spokane, Wash.. At the last moment I decided to photograph fireworks and from a cliff vantage point over Spokane. It looked like there were hundreds of people around, many waiting for hours. So, I found a small spot, set up my tripod, got my camera settings dialed in and knelt down. I was probably there for about five minutes taking one long exposure after another. I then walked around and got a few other photos from the back of the crowd and left right before the end of the fireworks show to avoid traffic on the way out.
