Lucky Friday Mine Strike

Here are photos for the Inlander of mine workers striking at the Lucky Friday mine in Mullan, Idaho on April 14, 2017. Employees who are members of United Steelworkers Local 5114 have been on strike since March 13 at the Lucky Friday mine after they were unable to come to a new collective bargaining agreement with Hecla Mining, the company that owns the mine. The company and the union could not come to an agreement mainly about pay, benefits and scheduling.  As of today, they have been on strike for about a month and a half. http://www.inlander.com/spokane/in-for-the-long-haul/Content?oid=3864746
