Here’s a photo for the Inlander of Terry Horne, whose basement has been inundated with water a couple of times due to the fact that her and her neighbors homes were built on land with a high water table without proper drainage. Horne is hoping that Spokane County can help her and neighbors, who live near Cheney, WA. In this photo, she shows a sump pump that is used to pump water from under her property to the street. https://www.inlander.com/spokane/for-years-theyve-pumped-water-into-the-street-to-keep-their-homes-from-flooding-now-they-want-spokane-countys-help/Content?oid=7870808
